Contract Pollux Transport and Carriers

 - The invoice will be accepted in a maximum of 90 days following the delivery, unless there’s a written agreement. 

- The carrier and his driver are responsible for checking whether the goods must be tarped. In case that the carrier does not tarp and the goods are damaged, he is 100% liable for the claim. 

- This document and any amounts are strictly confidential between Pollux Transport Inc and the carrier. In case of disclosure to the customer or any other party, or any back solicitation, Pollux Transport Inc reserves the right to retain an amount of the transport as a financial compensation for any losses that may result. 

- The reference number stated as LOAD# must be referenced on the invoice and the documents (POD, BOL and other) must be provided and sent by email at info@polluxtransport.ca. No payment will be made without the POD. 

- The pay term is net30 of invoice RECEIVED date, unless there's a written agreement. For invoices sent by mail, an additional delay of 30 days will be required. 

- The above rate includes all surcharges excepted if there’s a written agreement. In case there’s a mistake with the amount, the carrier must notify us BEFORE picking up the freight otherwise the revision will be refused. 

- Double brokerage strictly forbidden. We reserve the right to hold all payments if load is brokered. - Any issues or delay must be reported immediately to Pollux Transport Inc and any transport not corresponding to the requested service (FTL, LTL, transit time, equipment, tarp, etc) will be subject to rate adjustment. 

- If the loaded quantity differs from the one stated in this confirmation, Pollux Transport Inc reserves the right to adjust the amount accordingly. 

- All adjustments (waiting time, tarps, detention, handling etc) must be approved in writing prior to invoicing or they will be refused. 

- Any freight claims can be deducted from the above agreed rates. 

- All revised confirmations are temporary and must have been approved by our customer. Pollux Transport Inc reserve the right to void the revised amount in case the client does not approve it. 

- By moving the freight, the carrier accepts the terms of this contract.
